Aisha G. – Drummer | Los Angeles, CA
Los Angeles native Aisha G. is an undeniable talent whose drumming journey began at just three years old. She was mentored by the late, legendary Billy Higgins at The World Stage in Leimert Park, laying the foundation for a 28-year career that spans multiple genres and continents.
Today, Aisha performs regularly with R&B artist UMI, touring nationally and internationally. Her impressive resume includes a stadium debut at Houston’s NRG Stadium for the ELCA Youth Gathering (30,000 attendees), New Orleans Smoothie King Arena, performance at the Dakar Gorée Jazz Festival in Senegal, NPR’s Tiny Desk with Mereba, Jam in the Van with Mermaid, Medium Sized Backyard video performances, performed with Ayoni for Universal Music Group Women's History Month, and appearances in music videos with Yo Gotti and Jessie Reyez.
Aisha’s work has taken her to some of the world’s most iconic stages, including two performances at the Hollywood Bowl (with UMI and Mereba) and a debut at Coachella in 2023. She has toured with artists including St. Panther, Rozzi, Fana Hues, ChlotheGod, and Artur Menezes, and joined the cast of CW’s All American: Homecoming as a member of the on-screen drumline.
Endorsed by leading brands such as Roland, Paiste Cymbals, Audix Mics, Vater Drumsticks, Boom CRD, and Ultimate Ears, Aisha continues to elevate her craft while inspiring audiences worldwide. Most recently, she performed on NBC’s Today Show with UMI.
